Privacy Policy

Last Updated: June 24, 2026

Prilaga ("we," "us," or "our") takes your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy") explains our data protection practices and describes the types of information we may process when you install and/or use the "inTags - AI Hashtag Generator" mobile application for iOS and Android (the "App").

This policy applies to both the iOS and Android versions of the App. Where there is a meaningful difference between the two platforms, the difference is called out explicitly under "iOS" or "Android" paragraphs. Anything not marked applies to both platforms.

When we refer to personal data (or personal information) we mean any information relating to a natural person who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, or an online identifier.

This Privacy Policy applies to all users who access the App ("Users"). For the purposes of the GDPR, we are the data controller unless otherwise stated.

PLEASE READ THIS PRIVACY POLICY CAREFULLY. BY USING THE APP YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information you create

Hashtags, hashtag cards, categories, saved captions, and preferences you create or save in the App are stored locally on your device. We do not see or receive a copy of this content unless you enable a cloud backup (see Section 2).

1.2 Automatically collected information

When you use the App, the following information is collected by third-party SDKs we integrate (see Section 4):

- Device identifiers - an anonymous installation ID (generated per install, not linked to your Apple ID, Google account, name, or email). On iOS, if you grant permission via the App Tracking Transparency prompt, we also access the IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers) for advertising measurement (see Sections 1.3 and 5).
- Device information - device model, OS version, language, country, timezone, screen size.
- Usage data - which screens you open, which features you use (e.g. "generated hashtags", "saved card", "opened paywall"), session duration. We use this to understand how the App is used and to improve it.
- Diagnostics - crash reports and non-fatal error logs (no personal data, only technical information about the failure).
- Purchase information - when you buy a subscription, we record which product you purchased, the date, and whether the subscription is active. We do not see your payment details (card number, billing address) - that is handled by Apple App Store or Google Play.

1.3 Information for advertising

iOS:
The iOS version of the App does NOT display third-party advertising inside the App. However, we promote the App on other platforms (for example through Google Ads). To measure how that advertising performs and to reach users similar to our subscribers, we use the IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers) and subscription conversion events (such as start of a free trial or a trial converting to a paid subscription). The App first shows an App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt; we only access the IDFA and share advertising/attribution data if you allow tracking. If you decline, we do not.

Android:
The Android version may show ads. The ad networks we use rely on the Android Advertising Identifier (AAID), which you can reset or delete at any time in your device settings.

1.4 What we do NOT collect

- Your real name, email address, or phone number (unless you contact us by email).
- Your precise or approximate location.
- Your photos, contacts, calendar, microphone, or camera data.
- The content of your social media posts.

iOS:
We do not access the IDFA unless you grant permission through the App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, we do not access it (see Sections 1.3 and 5).

Android:
We read the inventory of installed apps for fraud-prevention purposes only (see Section 8); we do not share or store this list.

2. Backup and Cloud Sync

The App lets you back up your saved hashtags, categories, and captions to a cloud storage provider of your choice.

Both platforms:
- Dropbox
- Local file - exported to your device storage.

iOS only:
- iCloud Documents - your backup is stored in your private iCloud container.

Android only:
- Google Drive - your backup is stored in the app-scoped folder of your Google Drive.

We do not receive a copy of your backups. They travel directly between your device and the provider you chose. We do not have access to your iCloud, Google Drive, or Dropbox account.

The backup file contains your saved hashtags, categories, captions, and app preferences. The App's internal database is never uploaded.

For Dropbox and Google Drive, the App stores an access token securely on your device so it can perform scheduled backups. The App only has access to the files it has created - it cannot read other files in your cloud storage.

You can disable any backup provider at any time in the App's Backup screen. Disabling a provider removes the access token from your device. Existing backup files in your cloud storage are not deleted automatically - you can delete them manually through your provider's interface.

If you enable automatic backup with a daily or weekly schedule, the operating system may run the backup task in the background. The task only uploads to the providers you have enabled; no other data is accessed.

3. AI Caption Generation

The App provides an optional feature ("Writer") that generates social media captions using artificial intelligence. When you use this feature:

- The prompt (your post idea and the options you selected, such as tone, language, and target platform) is sent to our backend service for processing.
- We do not store the prompt or the generated caption on our servers.
- The request may be processed by a third-party AI provider under its own terms. The provider receives only the prompt content and returns the generated text - it does not receive any personal identifier.

Generated captions are stored locally on your device until you delete them.

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services that may process your data. Each one has its own privacy policy that governs how it handles information.

Analytics and diagnostics:
- Firebase Analytics (Google) - https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
- Firebase Crashlytics (Google) - https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy

Subscriptions and in-app purchases:
- RevenueCat - https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy

iOS:
- Apple App Store - https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/

Android:
- Google Play Billing - https://policies.google.com/privacy

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party services. Please review their respective privacy policies.

5. Tracking and Advertising Identifiers

iOS:
The iOS version of the App does not display advertising inside the App, but it does carry out tracking for advertising-measurement purposes. The App shows an App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. If you allow tracking, we access your IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers) and share it, together with subscription conversion events, with advertising partners (such as Google) so we can measure the performance of campaigns that promote the App and reach users similar to our existing subscribers. If you decline, we do not access the IDFA and do not share this data for advertising. You can change your choice at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

Android:
The Android version may use the Android Advertising Identifier (AAID) for ad serving. You can reset or limit ad tracking in your Android device settings.

Both platforms:
Our analytics tools use anonymous in-app identifiers that are not linked to your real identity. On iOS, where you have allowed tracking, the IDFA and conversion events may be used by our advertising partners to build cross-app advertising audiences for the purpose of promoting the App.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

The App offers an optional auto-renewable Premium subscription that unlocks all paid features.

- The subscription duration and price are shown in the App before you confirm a purchase.
- A subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you buy a subscription.

iOS:
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings after purchase.

Android:
Payment is charged to your Google account at confirmation of purchase. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Google Play account settings after purchase.

Subscription status and the receipt are validated through RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives an anonymous user ID, the product purchased, and the receipt; it does not receive your name, email, or payment details.

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies. We cannot process refunds directly.

7. How We Use Your Data

We process the data described above for the following purposes:

- To provide the App's core functionality (generate hashtags, save cards, run backups).
- To understand how the App is used and to improve features and performance.
- To detect and diagnose crashes and bugs.
- To validate purchases and manage your subscription status.
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and modified or hacked versions of the App.
- To measure the performance of our marketing campaigns and to acquire new users (advertising).
- To comply with legal obligations.

Android only:
- To show ads to free users.

Legal bases under the GDPR (for users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland):
- Performance of a contract - core App functionality, subscription processing.
- Legitimate interest - analytics, crash reporting, fraud prevention.
- Consent - personalized advertising (Android, where required), advertising measurement and audience building on iOS (via the App Tracking Transparency prompt), AI caption generation.
- Legal obligation - tax records, responding to lawful requests.

You can withdraw consent at any time by disabling the relevant feature or by contacting us.

8. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your data:

- All network communication uses HTTPS / TLS encryption.
- Backup files are transmitted directly between your device and the cloud provider over encrypted channels.
- Access tokens for cloud providers are stored securely on your device.
- We do not store your payment card details - they are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play.

Despite our efforts, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Android:
The Android version reads the inventory of installed apps to detect modified or fraudulent versions of inTags. This information is not shared and is not collected by us.

iOS:
The iOS operating system does not allow apps to access the list of installed applications, so no such inventory is read.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under these ages. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at ask@prilaga.com and we will delete it.

In the EEA, certain default privacy settings will be applied to users under the age of 16 and can only be changed if the legal guardian instructs so in writing.

10. Account Deletion

The App does not maintain user accounts. There is no sign-up, no login, and no password. We identify you only by an anonymous installation ID generated locally on your device.

To delete all data associated with your installation, uninstall the App from your device. Your saved hashtags, categories, captions, preferences, and the anonymous installation ID will be removed.

To delete cloud backup files, switch off the relevant backup provider in the App's Backup screen, then delete the backup file from your cloud account manually.

If you have made a subscription purchase and want to delete your subscription history, you can contact us at ask@prilaga.com and we will request deletion from RevenueCat on your behalf.

11. Your Rights

11.1 GDPR (EEA, UK, Switzerland)

- The specific pieces of personal information we have about you.
- Deletion of your personal information.
- Correction of inaccurate personal information.
- The right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information.

We do not sell your personal information.

iOS:
The iOS version does not display ads inside the App. If you allow tracking through the App Tracking Transparency prompt, we share your advertising identifier (IDFA) and subscription conversion events with advertising partners to measure our marketing and reach similar users; under the CPRA's broad definition this may qualify as "sharing." You can opt out at any time by declining or revoking the ATT permission (iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking).

Android:
The Android version uses ad networks; the data they receive may qualify as "sharing" under the CPRA's broad definition. You can opt out of personalized advertising by enabling "Opt out of Ads Personalization" or by resetting / deleting the Android Advertising ID in your device settings.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at ask@prilaga.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding, by asking for information that lets us match you to a record we hold.

- Cloud backup files - retained in your own cloud account until you delete them manually.

14. Third-Party Links

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, Apple, Google policies). We are not responsible for the practices employed by any websites or services linked to or from our App. Please review their privacy policies separately.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
